Avery always wants to help. Sometimes it is not helpful when she helps. She makes a bigger mess and takes two to three times as long. But you have to let her help. We cannot crush the helfpul spirit in her, then expect it to be there in ten years when I want her to do some things around the house. I have to be willing to accept her help, no matter what. Some days that is easier than others.
