Avery's First Visit to the Dentist

Avery had her first visit to the dentist in June. She and I both had visits. I went first to show her what would happen while she played with some toys. She did an awesome job. She was not afraid of anything and the dentist and her assistant only had to ask Avery to do things once and she would do it.

They gave her cool princess shades to wear

They let her feel the "tooth tickler" (aka polishing brush) before they used it on her.

Here they go! She did great!

She was not scared of the air suction tube.

You would have thought she had done this a hundred times already.

She scored some nice princess stuff to take home too. As soon as we left, she asked if we could go back again. Sign of a wonderful experience with the dentist!
