The other night we carved our pumpkins. Of course, Avery dug right in. Evan on the other hand was reluctant to touch it. Once he did, he did not want to touch it again for several minutes. He seemed scared of it and kept pulling his hand away if Matt tried to get him to touch it. But once the seeds and "guts" of the pumpkin were in the bowl, he had tons of fun stirring it around and squishing his hands in it. He was a mess afterwards.
I did a simple smiley face and Matt carved a fairy. Avery had chosen a fairy stencil at the store and he had to do it!
