SNOW!

In the brief time that everyone was relatively healthy and it was not frigid outside, we were able to go out and play in the snow. It was the first time Evan actually played in the snow and of course he loved it. One funny thing that happened while playing in the snow is that I was making a mermaid in the snow for Avery and I grabbed some snow nearby and there was a nice surprise from Charlie underneath. My glove was ruined after that. Later Evan layed on top of the mermaid and looked like he was hugging it. After the sneak attack of the poop, we decided to do our snow angels in the front yard. Charlie does not go to the bathroom in the front yard.

Yes, Evan has one pink glove (couldn't find the match to his glove) and Avery's pink snow shoes from when she was his age. Hey, I am not buying a pair of non-pink snow shoes just to be worn a few times just in our backyard. He could care less at this age.

Thank goodness we have a small little hill to give the kids a little taste of sledding. We will really go sledding with the next big snow.

Last year I started to think ahead. I bought Avery brown snow pants. Brown and pink go together, and then when she outgrows them, Evan can wear them and they will not be pink!
