Avery had her first dance recital at the beginning of June. They danced to "Twist and Shout" and Avery was adorable. I thought all the people might scare her, causing her to simply stand there, but she didn't! She did such a good job. I am still working on getting video up on the blog.
Evan gave Avery flowers afterwards, but she did not seem really interested. She really just wanted to go home. It had been a long nine months of dance class and she was ready for it to be over in April. Everytime we were going to class those last two months she would ask "Is dance over yet?" I would tell her no and she would say "awww" in a whiney voice. She was thrilled when dance was over and is now in gymnastics...which she LOVES. She will not be doing dance this year, gymanastics and horseback riding are her favorite activities now.
By the way, still no camera cord. I forgot I had these pictures on the computer already and just now posted them.
