My aunt and uncle had a big 4th of July BBQ at their house and my grandma was able to leave the rehabilitation center for a few hours. I think she really enjoyed watching the great grandchildren playing and having some really good food. Unfortunately, I did not get any pictures of the kids with Baby Grandma. I know since the stroke she has been self-conscious about how she looks, especially her hair and I did not want to make her more self-conscious by asking for a picture. It was really, really great to have her there.
My cousin Angela is watching her daughter Isabelle and Evan playing in the sprinkler.
Evan would get cold, get out of his swimsuit, put on clothes and two minutes later
run back into the sprinkler....get cold, change clothes, run back into the sprinkler. It was an endless cycle.
Avery really did not want to go in the sprinkler too much, but loved running around the yard. She and Evan especially loved the strawberry patch and picking strawberries and eating them everyday.
No swimsuit or clothes this time. Only a diaper.
