During our trip to Oregon, we headed out to the coast for two days. I couldn't wait to take the kids to the beaches I visited frequently while growing up. Unlike Florida beaches, the water is not warm and great for swimming. As you can see we are wearing sweatshirts. The breeze off of the ocean makes it a little cool. And despite the sun, there was a fog covering the beach-it is not sand blowing. When we arrived we first had lunch at a restaurant on the beach, then headed out to the beach--Avery brought her left over french fries to feed to the seagulls. However, she never fed them because she had more fun running around and playing in the sand...until Evan tackled her and she got a mouth full of sand.
She threw up from all the sand in her mouth...poor girl. (It was kind of funny though!)
