Uncle Brian Visits!

Uncle Brian came to visit for Christmas. While he was here we relaxed, finished Christmas shopping, searched for a Schlotzky's, and visited Clifton Mill which was decorated for Christmas. Clifton Mill was cold and muddy and Evan screamed when we woke him from a good nap, bundled him in snow gear. He eventually went back to sleep, stayed asleep when we went to dinner, on the car ride home, woke up for a bottle and went back to sleep until 7:00 in the morning with only one wake up at night. I have never seen him sleep so much. It was a miracle. Tis the season!

Here we are in line to see the extensive collection of Santa Claus figures. It was cold.

Avery liked seeing all the different Santas. There were cute ones, ugly ones, old ones, big ones, little ones, funny ones, and even some scary looking ones. Besides seeing the santas, it was a welcomed break from the cold since it was indoors and heated.

Avery is pointing to the mechanical deer on top of Santa's workshop.

Looking through the window she could see a real live Santa working on toys.

This is prior to Evan falling back asleep. He seemed entranced by the lights...what he could see through his small opening that is! Did I mention it was cold?!?!

The family.

(Evan is asleep in the stroller next to us...just can't see him)

Uncle Brian and Grandpa jump in for a picture.

Grandma, Uncle Brian, and Grandpa.

Thanks for a lovely time Grandpa and Grandma.

Uncle Brian holds Evan for the first time.

Both seem a little uncertain about the situation.

You did a good job Uncle Brian!
