EASTER

Easter was a very busy weekend for us. We visited Great Grandma Suver and had a easter lunch and an egg hunt with all of the cousins. We then headed to the Fosters house for dinner and another egg hunt. Then on Sunday we headed to church, had our own egg hunt, and Grandpa and Grandma Collins came over for dying eggs, another hunt and dinner. It was busy, but lots of fun.

The first big egg hunt. It would be an understatement to say it was breezy that day...it was WINDY. But that will not stop kids from hunting for easter eggs.

Found one!

She needed to see what was inside immediately.

The story of Avery's life, her pants, skirts or shorts are always falling off.
Poor girl.

Evan watched and we had to put Avery's blanket on his bald head, it was starting to get a little cool with the extreme wind.

Avery and her second cousin, Stephen, played some lovely music on the piano and sang songs together.

Can you tell she has been out in the wind?!?!

At the Foster's house we opted for an egg hunt inside since the wind had picked up even more and the temperature had dropped. It was just as much fun inside. Evan enjoyed the goodies in his basket.

On Easter morning the Easter bunny brought the kids some baskets. Avery's had candy, watermelon chapstick, Hello Kitty nailpolish, and some bug stickers. She also got a little caboodle (girls from the 90's will know what that is!) to put all of her make-up and hair clips in. She loves it of course. We didn't get any pictures of Evan with his basket, only video. I feel bad, but thats what happens with additional children, right? He got some new pacifiers and teething toys. He got his first tooth, bottom right, but of course, he won't let me get a picture of it.

Oh yes, and the traditional chocolate bunny which only got an ear nibbling. But who ever really eats the whole thing?

Avery dying eggs with Grandma Collins. I was not thinking when I bought eggs and accidentally bought brown eggs. But they did not turn out too bad.

See!
Here is some video of Avery and her cousin Stephen.
