To celebrate New Year's Eve, we went to the Skiles' (Dave, Kristy, Cailyn, and Elisabeth) home. The kids all wore their pajamas and had a countdown at 9:00. (We watched the ball drop from last year--the kids thought it was great and did not know the difference). We then sent them upstairs to watch a movie and fall asleep, but they just wanted to play. Finally at 11:15 we headed home since both Avery and Evan were desperate for sleep. On the way home Avery kept whining "I just want to close my eyes." I told her to close them and she just kept repeating herself. It was a very fun evening.
