One evening Matt and some co-workers decided to get together to play a little two on two basketball. The kids and I watched for about five minutes then went to the playground. The quote of the night came from Avery: "Mommy, why isn't Daddy putting the ball in the net?" Me: "He's trying sweetie, he's trying." Matt eventually found his groove and started making them, but not during the first five minutes we were there!
We made it back to the basketball game and Avery saw some of Matt's co-workers laying on the ground during a water break....she joined in. The funny thing is, now she does then when she is taking a break when playing with her little basketball hoop.
This was Evan's first time sitting in the front of the stroller. He was thrilled.
And she was just as thrilled to be sitting in the back!
