On the last day of our visit we went to the Philadelphia Please Touch Museum. It was perfect for kids Avery's age. Grandpa, Grandma and Uncle Brian accompanied us while Uncle David visited his in-laws in Baltimore.

Uncle Brian crusin' with Avery. She insisted on the stroller.

Avery immediately jumped out of the stroller once she saw all the stuff she could play with. Here she is getting on a city bus.

Testing her balance.

"Riding" the monorail. No one else could "ride" with her. It was definitely her size.

Evan loved these big legos and was even dancing to the music that was playing.

Meanwhile, Avery played with some foam made out of tiny little foam balls. We made a shark.

The water area was pretty neat. Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of the entire area.

Riding the carousel. I found it interesting that she was riding a cat with a fish in its mouth. Not your typical animal to ride.

Daddy and Evan chose a seat that did not move. That was best for both of them!

Sally and Roger

The museum had this wonderful Alice In Wonderland exhibit. We started off in the maze and wound up in the shrinking hallway.

We continued through the maze to the Mad Hatter's place where Avery decided to have a tea party.

Cooking up some treats for Grandma

Having a tea party...Avery hogging all of the teapots. (After I took the picture, I made her give some to the other kids.)

Painting some of the Queen of Hearts' roses red.

Taking Uncle Brian for a ride.

Avery found her own personal heaven in the "Grocery Store"
She loaded that cart up so full, things were constantly falling off. There was no more room left, but Avery kept putting anything and everything in.

We needed a couple of loaves of bread too.

Checkout time. Matt was the cashier. It took a looooong time to check out.

Her tears of protest when she was finally dragged away from the grocery store.

Evan and I snuck in a picture while waiting on Avery to finish up in the grocery store.

The last stop was the construction site.
Avery could have spent all weekend at this museum. Unfortunately there were five adults and one tired baby brother who were not interested in that and made her leave. We spent a fun filled three hours there and had a great time. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Philadelphia with little ones.
Here is some video from the carousel.
