The Lost Colony

While at the Outer Banks we traveled to Roanoke Island to watch the outdoor play called The Lost Colony --about the first British colony in North America. It was really good and Avery made it through 3/4 of the play before falling asleep. Matt stayed back at the house with Evan. We knew he would not make it through 10 minutes.

Avery referred to this girl as Pocohontas and

still reenacts what she was doing in the play.

Here is Avery completing a drawing to become a junior ranger.

Here she is with her junior ranger badge. She took it off about 10 minutes later.
